Sara F. Khosroabadi
Attorney
Sara Khosroabadi is a licensed attorney in the State of California and Nevada. She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, and the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and a board member of the Iranian American Bar Association.
Sara’s passion in life has always been to help people. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University in 2008.
After getting her BA in Psychology, she worked for the consumer protection law firm Hyde & Swigart, where she was inspired to become an attorney herself. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California, in 2014.
While at California Western School of Law, she earned the Diversity Scholarship, was active in many of the diversity organizations on campus, and became President of the Beaumont Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International. She also maintained her position with Hyde & Swigart throughout law school and was an associate of the firm for three years before opening her own practice.
While at Hyde & Swigart, she helped many consumers settle their claims against various creditors, collection agencies, and credit bureaus, including Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian, for identity theft and credit reporting inaccuracies. She maintained a portfolio of over 500 clients who all filed lawsuits against Volkswagen during the 2015 Emission Scandal. She also filed class action lawsuits against companies like Blue Apron and Birchbox for deceptive auto-renewal practices. In addition to these matters, Sara also helped consumers who creditors and collection agencies wrongfully sued.
Since opening her own practice, she has maintained filing consumer protection lawsuits for credit reporting inaccuracies and identity theft, in addition to filing lawsuits against employers and settling six-figure matters for her clients.
